Surface Meteorology

Since December 2010 a multi-sensor weather instrument is permanently installed on top of the office container at the BCO.

It provides 6 of the most important weather parameters: air pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction on approx. 4 m AGL. The data is recorded every 10 seconds (10s mean values from 1s values).

The data is available as BCO.surfacemet_wxt_v1 in the catalog.
